Description

Horace died of bowel inflammation due to an attack of colic. Thorne wrote Horace prescriptions for colic attacks over the last five or six years of his life. Horace told Thorne that he never had any colic attacks until after he recovered from the gunshot wound to his left hand. According to Thorne, the wound was the cause of the colic attacks. Stamped by the Pension Office.
