This document includes both the original application rejection and the later rejection of Maria's second application. The Board of Review rejects the first application because the attorney has not included evidence that Rice's cause of death, acute bowel inflammation, is related to his military service. In the later rejection, the Board rules that the cause of death was not related to service. Stamped by the Board of Review.
